History
Church Hill Middle School opened the doors in 2006 when we started with a wonderful group of two-hundred 6th graders. In 2007-2008, we opened up the new building and added 7th grade. The following year 8th graders joined the campus, finally achieving the status of a full middle school. Today, there are over 1000 students who call CHMS home.
CHMS has earned a 13 TEA Academic Distinctions over the past 4 years, more than any middle school in the surrounding area. We have a dedicated staff of professionals willing to serve the parents and students on the west side of the Canyon HS feeder pattern. Along with academic successes, we have achieved recognition for having outstanding fine arts and athletic programs.
